American actress, Ming-Na Wen did not change her name per se, she just inserted a hyphen in her name which was Ming Na Wen originally.

Wen was my real father’s last name and it didn’t fit anymore. For whatever psychological reason, I was holding onto that name, and I wanted to get rid of it. It didn’t feel right to keep it for professional reasons. So now I’m like Ann-Margret because she’s got the hyphen too,” she once shared in an interview.

Wen bagged her debut voice-acting role as the title character in the animated film Mulan in 1998, and its direct-to-video sequel Mullan II. She went on to appear in the video game Kingdom Hearts II.

She also voiced Aki Ross in the computer-animated film Final Fantasy: The Spirit Within, and Detective Ellen Yin in the animated series The Batman.  She starred in several movies including Prom Night, Push, BoyBand, Two and a Half Men, Phineas and Ferb, Private Practice, Boston Legal, Stargate Universe, and more, from 2008 to 2011.
