Why did Martin Lawrence leave SNL?
Per reports, Martin Lawrence made bad comments regarding female genitalia and feminine hygiene. These comments did not sit well with viewers and the show’s writers. According to some, he was banned permanently from the program, a statement he has previously claimed was false.

It’s important to note that being a cast member on “Saturday Night Live” is a challenging and demanding job that requires a substantial amount of dedication. The regular cast members are expected to act in sketches, write and prepare their material, and be ready for long hours. It is possible that Martin was not willing to make such a commitment or that the show’s producers never offered him a permanent role.
