Justin Roiland did not leave Rick and Morty by himself but he was rather fired due to some domestic abuse and some other charges imposed on him after he was arrested by the police.

Justin Roiland was starring in the American sitcom titled “Rick and Morty” and he portrayed Rick Sanchez for several of the seasons.
Justin Roiland will not be available in the seventh season as he has been disassociated from the sitcom as he faces the charges imposed on him.
Rick and Morty made the announcement about parting ways with Justin Roiland in a Twitter post that reads: “Adult Swim has ended its association with Justin Roiland. Rick and Morty will continue.”
