American retired child actor, Jeff Cohen was reportedly born Jeffrey Bertan McMahon, however, he changed his name when he started acting. He decided to use his mother’s maiden name, Cohen. Therefore, his name became Jeff Cohen.

Jeff Cohen is currently an attorney. He is a founding partner of law firm, Cohen & Gardner. He works on the business side of the movie industry and has helped several actors and actresses secure legal actions in the industry.

“I was transforming from Chunk to hunk and I couldn’t get roles anymore,” he said.

“I didn’t give up acting, acting gave me up,” he added.

According to sources, he negotiated the deal for his fellow Goonies star, Ke Huy Quan to get a casting role in the multiple award-winning movie, Everything Everywhere All At Once. 

Quan publicly thanked Cohen when he won the Best Supporting Role – Actor at the just ended 2023 Academy Awards.

“My Goonies brother for life,” he said thanking Cohen for his incredible assistance throughout the rise of his career.
