During an interview with Jahmyr Gibbs in August 2022, he shared that he thought it was the best decision for him at that time to transfer to Alabama from Georgia Tech.

“I think it was the best opportunity for me to better myself,” he said during the interview.

“No knock on my old teammates, I love them, still talk to them every day, they’re a great group of guys, but I made the best decision for me,” he added.
