Canadian singer and songwriter, Gordon Lightfoot canceled his tour due to health issues beyond his control.

“Official Statement from Gordon Lightfoot For Immediate Release – Toronto, ON April 11, 2023. Gordon Lightfoot announces the cancellation of his U.S. and Canadian concert scheduled for 2023. The singer is currently experiencing some health-related issues and is unable to confirm scheduled dates at this time. We thank you for respecting his privacy as he continues to focus on his recovery,” an official statement read.

Lightfoot died at the age of 84 on May 1, 2023. He died at Sunnybrook Hospital, according to the family’s spokesperson, Victoria Lord.
