Federico Bernardeschi is an attacking midfielder and winger who first gained notoriety playing for Juventus. After being acquired from Fiorentina’s youth team, he began his senior career with the club. He has played for a variety of teams, such as Crotone, A.S.D. Sporting Atletico Carrara, Juventus, and others. Since 2017, he has been a winger for Juventus.

In 2000, Federico Bernardeschi joined the A.S.D. Sporting Atletico Carrara youth club to start his football career. Later, he played for Fiorentina and Polusportiva Ponzano.

Following his promotion in 2013, Federico Bernardeschi joined Fiorentina and signed his first professional contract. At the age of 19, he played in his debut professional game as a replacement for Soufiane Bidaoui against Pescara on September 8, 2013.

Federico Bernardeschi has acknowledged that after leaving Juventus, he received numerous offers, but he decided to transfer across the Atlantic because of Toronto FC’s and Major League Soccer’s aspirations.
The 28-year-old Italian international was one of several notable arrivals to TFC this summer, along with fellow countrymen Domenico Criscito and Lorenzo Insigne, who had already signed a deal earlier in the year.
