On April 15, 1920, Dean Stockwell and Millie Perkins tied the knot. They divorced on July 30, 1962. They did not have any children in their marital relationship. Millie remarried after her divorce from Dean.

Millie married Robert Thom, a writer and director who penned the screenplay for the popular 1963 film, Wild in the Streets, in which she starred. They had two children together, Hedy Thom and Lillie Thom.

Why Did Dean Stockwell And Millie Perkins Divorce?

Stockwell married actress Millie Perkins on April 15, 1960. They then divorced on July 30, 1962. The reason for their divorce is unknown.

After his divorce from Millie, Dean appeared in an adaptation of Eugene O’Neill’s play Long Day’s journey into Night along with Katharine Hepburn, Ralph Richardson and Jason Robards, under the direction of Sidney Lumet.

Stockwell later mentioned that appearing in the movie was an “intense and rewarding experience as I’ve had”.
