Bobby Flay lost his Michelin star in 2009. He had earned a Michelin star in 2008 for his Las Vegas Mesa Grill restaurant ². However, the star was taken away in the 2009 edition of the Michelin Guide.

Unfortunately, there is no official statement from Michelin or Bobby Flay regarding the loss of the star. Bobby Flay is best known for his frequent appearances on the cable station Food Network.
In his earlier stages, Bobby Flay held several more jobs in New York City, including one under restaurateur Jonathan Waxman. Bobby Flay opened Bobby’s Burger Palace (BBP) in Lake Grove, Long Island, on July 15, 2008.
In November 1993, Bobby Flay launched Bolo, a fine-dining Spanish restaurant. In 2014, Bobby Flay opened Gato, a Spanish- and Mediterranean-inflected restaurant to replace Bolo.
