It is not clear why Bray Wyatt was released from his WWE contract, however, it was alleged that WWE saw Wyatt’s character as buying talent and that his character killed everyone he worked with.

Bray Wyatt was reportedly not fired because of his gimmick or any other backstage behavioural reason. Bray Wyatt, as per explanations, was released because “he had a health issue that was being addressed and was uncommunicative and uncooperative with WWE regarding the way his health issue was being addressed by doctors.”

WWE owns the rights to Bray Wyatt. The WWE filed a trademark for Bray Wyatt’s “The Fiend” character and the trademark was filed on 4/1 with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Bray Wyatt was later released from his WWE contract in July 2021. The American professional wrestler has performed professionally with WWE under the ring names Bray Wyatt and The Fiend. As a member of The Nexus, he has wrestled on WWE’s main roster from 2010 to 2011 under the ring name Husky Harris.
