Who won the Oliveira vs Gaethje fight?

Oliveira defeated Justin Gaethje in a bloodbath at UFC 274 on Saturday, May 6th.

The fight between Oliveira and Gaethje was exciting for the time it lasted, as both fighters rocked and dropped each other with clubbing shots before Oliveira dropped Gaethje with a thud with a straight right hand.

Oliveira took advantage of the situation by grabbing Gaethje’s back and attempting to form a triangle. Even though Gaethje managed to break free from the entanglement, Oliveira trapped him in a rear-naked choke. Oliveira tightened the grip, forcing Gaethje to tap before falling asleep.

Oliveira has now won eleven consecutive fights, with six of those victories coming via submission.

Oliveira now has a chance to fight for the UFC lightweight title again with the win, Michael Chandler, who knocked out Tony Ferguson earlier in the night, is one of the challenges he could face. There’s also Conor McGregor and Islam Makhachev.
