The 2022 John Deere Classic final leaderboard was led by JT Poston, who won his second PGA Tour victory at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois.

Poston entered the final round with a three-shot lead, which he maintained throughout the tournament, winning on 21-under 263 over Emiliano Grillo and Christiaan Bezuidenhout.

Scott Stallings and Chris Gotterup tied for fourth place with a 17-under total. J.T. Poston won wire-to-wire, taking home $1,278,000 of the $7.1 million prize pool.

Poston’s victory in the 72-hole stroke-play championship earned him 24 Official World Golf Ranking points, which will help his world ranking.

Poston is the tournament’s third wire-to-wire winner, following Scott Hoch in 1980 and David Frost in 1992.

The 29-year-old from Hickory, North Carolina, finished with a score of 21-under 263. He started with 62-65-67.

With the win, Poston also earned 500 FedEx Cup points, which will help him in the season-long points race.
