Tisa Farrow, the younger sister of Mia Farrow and an actress known for her roles in the 1970s, has passed away, as announced by her older sibling on Friday. Mia shared the news on Instagram, revealing that Tisa unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, seemingly in her sleep. She expressed her belief that if there is a heaven, Tisa is undoubtedly being welcomed there, describing her as the best of their family, a remarkably generous and loving person.

Mia acknowledged the difficult time the family is going through in the wake of this sad news. Tisa, who entered the entertainment industry in the 1970s, had a more limited career compared to Mia and was not as widely recognized. Making her film debut as a teenager in 1970’s “Homer,” a hippie counterculture film, Tisa accumulated 15 acting credits over her career.

Among her notable roles, Tisa starred in the 1979 horror film “Zombie” and played a significant part in the 1978 film “Fingers.” She also made an appearance in Woody Allen’s 1979 picture “Manhattan,” just before Allen’s relationship with Mia began.

Despite Tisa’s relatively modest career compared to her sister’s, Mia and Tisa maintained a close relationship, as evidenced by photos of them together in and around Hollywood during their early days as aspiring actresses. The passing of Tisa Farrow marks the end of an era in Hollywood, and she is remembered for her contributions to the film industry.
