Steve Goldman was a former President of Domestic Television at Paramount Pictures. He joined the company in 1981 and was named the executive vice president of domestic television in 1989. He was promoted to President in 1991, succeeding Lucie Salhany, who had then moved to a different position at Fox.

He was reported dead by his family on Monday, June 26, 2023. According to them, he died on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, after a battle with levy body dementia. He was 81 years old at the time of death.

Goldman retired from Paramount Pictures in 2003, and along with his wife, Sandra, owned and ran the Cyrus Kent House Inn and Gardens, which was built in 1877, in Chatham.

He also served several roles aside from his role in Paramount Pictures before he passed away. He served on several boards such as Emerson College, Aerva Software, The Chatham Creative Arts Center, and Chatham Orpheum Theatre.

Goldman was survived by his wife, Sandra, his children Victoria, Evan, and Jessica, and grandchildren Emmet and Dillion.
