Popular Irish singer, Sinéad O’Connor was a famous Irish singer who was known for her popular single Nothing Compares 2 Us. During her career, she released ten studio albums and raked in several awards.

Some of her albums include Am I Not Your Girl? (1992), Universal Mother (1994), Faith and Courage (2000) Throw Down Your Arms (2005), and more. The 1992 and 1994 albums both went gold in the UK. Her 2000 album also went gold in Australia and the 2005 album also went gold in Ireland.

Sinéad was known for being blatantly honest about her spiritual journey, activism, socio-political views, as well as her trauma and mental health struggles. She was ordained as a priest by the Latin Tridentine Church in 1999. The church is a sect that is not recognized by the mainstream Catholic Church.
