Who was Peter Meyer? Artist Manager and Former William Morris Agent Dead at 68

Peter Meyer was an artist and talent agent, who worked at William Morris Agent (WMA) for more than a decade. He spent 11 years at WMA and moved on to launch his own firm called Meyer Management in 1990. The purpose of it was to represent directors, writers, producers, and authors, selling their work and facilitating their employment across all entertainment platforms.

He was the representative of quite a good number of actors for several movies. Some of them include Michael  Sloan and Eldridge (The Equalizer), Jeffrey Reiner (Friday Night Lights), Joel Nova (Cobra Kai), J. T. Allen (The Lion King), Roger Frappier (The Power of the Dog), Deric Washburn (The Deer Hunter), and more.

Meyer died on May 14, 2023, after a five-year battle with sarcoma, at age 68. His death was announced by his sister, Patricia K. Meyers, who is a writer and producer. He was also survived by his wife, Anna Maria, and three children including Chris and Chase.
