Who Was Oksana Shvets? Ukrainian Actress Killed In Russian Rocket Attack On Residential Building

Ukrainian Actress, Oksana Shvets has died as a result of a rocket attack on a residential building in Kyiv. She was 67 years old.

Oksana Shvets was born on February 10, 1955. She was a graduate of the theater studio at the Ivan Franko Theater, as well as the theater department of the Kiev State Institute of Theater Arts. I. K. Karpenko-Kary.

Oksana Shvets worked at the Ternopil Music and Drama Theater, and then at the Kiev Theater of Satire.

Since 1980, the actress has acted as part of the actors of the Young Theater, and also starred in feature films. Oksana Shvets starred in the films “Tomorrow Will Be Tomorrow”, “The Secret of St. Patrick”, the series “House with Lilies”, “The Return of Mukhtar”, and many more.

Officials say at least 21 people were killed and 25 injured when Russia shelled a school and a cultural centre in Merefa, near Kharkiv.

US President Joe Biden calls his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, a “war criminal”, and announces an additional $800m in security assistance to Ukraine.
