Malcolm X married Betty Shabazz and they lived happily to give birth to six children: Attallah, Qubilah, Ilyasah, Gamilah Lumumba, Malikah and Malaak Shabazz.

Betty Shabazz was an American educator and civil rights activist who is known to have suffered massively from racism. Betty Shabazz was born on May 28, 1934, and died on June 23, 1997, at the age of 63 years.

Betty Shabazz enrolled at Tuskegee Institute in Alabama but was forced to leave after encountering a series of racial abuses. Betty Shabazz moved to New York to study nursing at Brooklyn State College School of Nursing. It was during Betty time as a nurse when she met Malcolm X and they married.
