Who was Lance Reddick? ‘The Wire’ star dead aged 60

American actor, Lance Reddick who starred as Cedric Daniels in the popular tv show, The Wire, has been reported dead. He was 60 years old. He is also known for playing the role of Charon in the John Wick franchise, Phillip Broyles in Finge, and Chief Irvin in Bosch.

The cause of death was given as ‘natural causes.’

“So sad to hear about Lance Reddick. What a wonderful human. He was a frequent guest and supporter of TGA and even recorded a promo VOs one year for us. An amazing actor who gave so much to games, gone too far soon,” Geoff Keighley of Game Awards wrote in a post.

“Just found out Lance Reddick passed away. I’ve worked with Lance on OZ and then on Fringe. Too many stories and good times with Lance. You’ll be terribly missed. Jesus, he was taken way too soon. Rest easy my friend,” Actor, Kirk Acevedo shared.
