Kyle Brown was an ESPN director and staffer who worked for the network for 16 years before his untimely death. He won two Sports Emmy Awards and was one of the longest-serving employees.

He attended Ohio State College and played baseball as a college student. His sudden death occurred after suffering a medical emergency while at a college baseball event. He was working at an NCAA baseball super regional in Winston Salem, N. C. when his untimely death occurred. Brown was 42 years old.

The news of his death was announced by ESPN across their social media platforms.

“A 16-year ESPN employee, Kyle was a deeply admired member of our production team – and highly accomplished, having captured two Sports Emmy Awards while working a multitude of sports from baseball and basketball to Monday Night Football and college football. “Kyle cherished the opportunities to have a career in sports. His ESPN family wishes to extend our deepest condolences and full support to Kyle’s loved ones… Kyle will be greatly missed,” the statement read.
