Myles Lorenz Garrett is an American football defensive end for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League. He played college football at Texas A&M, where he received unanimous All-American honors in 2016, and was selected first overall by the Browns in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Browns defensive end Myles Garrett was involved in a single-car accident on Monday afternoon, the team has confirmed per multiple reports.

Garrett was taken to a hospital after the crash, along with a female passenger who had been with him in the vehicle. Both suffered “minor, non-life threatening injuries” during the ordeal, per Camryn Justice of News 5 Cleveland.
Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the accident occurred when Garrett swerved to avoid an animal on the road. He then overcorrected on the wet road and the crash ensued.
Garrett’s crash occurred near Wadsworth, Ohio around 3 p.m. ET, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol officials. During the incident, Garrett’s 2021 Porsche “went off the right side of the road and flipped several times before coming to a rest.”
