Gérard Pelisson, the co-founder of The Accor Group, has died unfortunately on March 6, 2023, at the age of 91 years. Gérard Pelisson’s death is a sad one and it has happened just a few weeks after his 91st birthday.

Gérard Pelisson is very learned and he is an alumnus of the École Centrale Paris and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Gérard Pelisson was the uncle of 65-year-old a French business executive called Gilles Pélisson.

Gérard Pelisson served as the president of the Union des Français de l’Etranger for over two decades till his unfortunate death. Gérard Pelisson was an Officer of the Ordre national du Mérite and was also a Grand Officiers of the Légion d’honneur.
Gérard Pelisson authored a number of books and some of which include “The Castle on the Parkway: The Story of New York City’s Dewitt Clinton High School and Its Extraordinary Influence on American Life.”
