Ronald Jon Burns was the son of George Burns and Gracie Allen. He was born on July 9, 1935, in Evanston, Illinois, USA, and was adopted by George Burns and Gracie Allen when he was just five weeks old.

Ronnie Burns was primarily known as a television actor and a regular cast member of “The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show” (1950-58) on CBS. He later appeared on “The George Burns Show” (1958-59), a short-lived series produced after his mother retired from show business.

Ronnie Burns starred in the 1960-61 NBC comedy series “Happy,” in which he played the manager of the Palm Desert Hotel in Palm Springs. Ronnie Burns died on November 14, 2007, at his Pacific Palisades home due to cancer at the age of 72.
Ronnie Burns was survived by his wife, Janice, three sons from his first marriage: Brent, Brad, and Bryan Burns, six grandchildren, and his adopted sister, Sandra.
George Burns started his career at the age of seven, singing in the Pee Wee Quartet. Burns was only a Tony Award shy of being one of the few EGOT award recipients in the American entertainment industry.
