American former entertainment reporter, Francesca Cappucci has been reported dead. She died on March 30, 2023; she was 64 years old. According to sources, she died after being diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer in July 2022.

Tributes have been pouring in after the news of her death.
“RIP Francesca Cappucci, 64, KABC-TV’s entertainment reporter from 1984-98,” American journalist, Mike Barnes also wrote.

“Thursday morning my good friend, sister, and amazing mother of 2 boys, Francesca Cappucci passed away surrounded by her family and friends with her beloved Pasadena Foothills watching over her,” American singer, Meredith Brooks shared.

“Remembering Francesca Cappucci, her name itself a melody, who was a reporter for ABC in the 80s/90s and introduced me (and most of LA) to the world of music. Thanks for coming along, sharing a song, and making LA hum the same tune. LA lost a gift,” Jack Der-Sarkissian tweeted.
As a reporter, Cappucci covered several shows for KABC-TV from 1984 to 1998 and interviewed some of the biggest personalities in the music industry including Rod Stewart, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, and more.
