Edmond Dede served as assistant coordinator at the Grand Theatre and as conductor of the orchestras at the Théâtre l’Alcazar and the Folies bordelaise in Bordeaux. Edmond Dede returned to New Orleans, the USA in 1893 and passed away on January 5, 1901, after returning to Paris, France.
