The body of English Rugby League footballer Bryn Hargreaves which has been missing for over a year, has been found.

The former Wigan Warriors was reported missing on January 3, 2022, nine days after he last spoke to his family members.
Bryn’s apartment in West Virginia, United States, was found empty and police investigations could not detect his whereabouts.
The Bradford Bulls where Bryn last played, posted on social media: “We are extremely saddened to learn the body of former player Bryn Hargreaves has been found.
“Our thoughts and condolences are with Bryn’s family and friends at this difficult time.”

Who Was Bryan Hargreaves?
Bryn Hargreaves was a British rugby league footballer who played prop with the Wigan Warriors.
Born on November 14, 1985, Bryn also played for Leigh Centurions, St Helens and Bradford Bulls.
Bryn played for two years with the Wigan Warriors and was awarded the Under-21s Billie Joe Edwards and Craig Johnson Memorial Player of the Year trophy.
He was also a World Club Challenge winner in 2007 and a Challenge Cup winner in 2008.
Bryn appeared in 18 consecutive games and got featured in the Challenge Cup against Doncaster and Warrington.
He retired from the game of rugby in September 2012, and moved to West Virginia.
In January 2022, Bryn went missing in Cheat Lake, West Virginia, and was later found in March 2023.
