Who was Barry Keoghan in The Batman?

The Batman movie is out and one of the biggest surprises was the appearance of an unnamed prisoner in Arkham Asylum before the end of the movie.

When one goes through the credit, one might spot an unexpected name, which is Barry Keoghan, in the cast list. Keoghan’s credit shows him playing the Unseen Arkham Prisoner.

That part of the movie convinces people that the unseen prisoner is the Joker with his unique laugh and a fairly striking silhouette. There’s not a clear look at him. However, it seems like the edition used prosthetics to alter Keoghan’s face.

In an interview with director Matt Reeves, he mention that his finished film is his official director’s cut of the project. However, he wanted to release the deleted scene sometime this year because he enjoyed it.
