Who plays Stephen Carmichael in ‘Bad Education’?

The role of Stephen Carmichael in the popular BBC Comedy series, Bad Education is played by actor Layton Williams.

He first appeared in the popular BBC Comedy series Bad Education in 2012 as Stephen Carmichael until it officially ended in 2014. He reprised his role in the spin-off film in 2015. In 2022, he returned for the reunion special of the tv series and became the co-lead of its fourth season along with Charlie Wernham.

Born on September 13, 1994, Williams began his career as a child actor when he was just 11 years old. He first starred in the West End musical Thriller -Live as Young Michael Jackson

He also played the role of Kyle as an actor, singer, and dancer in the BBC Two comedy Beautiful People series 1 and 2 from 2008 to 2009.

Williams has starred in several movies and tv shows including Beautiful People, School for Stars, Benidorm, The Magic of Movie Musicals, The Cleaner, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, and more.
