Korg is a fictional character that appears in American comic books produced by Marvel Comics. The Incredible Hulk (2000) #93 (cover date May 2006) featured the “Planet Hulk” storyline, which was written by Greg Pak and illustrated by Carlo Pagulayan.

Korg is a member of the Kronan race, which can be seen in Journey into Mystery #83. Korg became a prisoner of the Red King on the alien planet Sakaar after being defeated by Thor when the Stone Men attempted to invade Earth.
Korg, like all Kronans, has a body made of a durable, silicon-based substance that protects him from nearly all forms of physical harm and gives him a rock-like appearance.

In oxygen-rich environments, Korg has vast super strength comparable to Thing. His mineral state also provides him with an extremely long lifespan.
Who plays Korg in Thor: Love and Thunder?
Taika Waititi plays Korg in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Avengers: Endgame (2019), and Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) using motion capture.
Waititi modelled Korg’s voice and mannerisms after Polynesian/Maori New Zealanders, who are typically soft-spoken and fond of humour.
