Christopher Ellison is 75 years old.

Burnside’s departure from the show was clouded by rumours that he had turned into a bent copper, despite the official explanation that he had been assigned to special operations.

Since leaving The Bill, Chris has appeared in programs such as Ellington and Birds of a Feather, and he even tried his hand at DJing when he hosted Southern Counties Radio’s breakfast programme earlier this year.

In August 2011, he played a prisoner in the New Tricks episode “Half-Life.” He entered the Celebrity Big Brother house on August 27, 2015. On September 8, 2015, he was evicted.

He had an appearance on the celebrity version of the game show Pointless in 2017. In 2020, a new guidebook called Witness Statements will incorporate Ellison’s memories of The Bill’s early days.
