English businessman and former boxer, Joe Fournier is the owner of Bombonniere. He also owns other businesses including Whisky Mist, The Rose Club, and Streaky Gin.

After he was forced to retire from boxing due to a scaphoid injury, he set up his own gym and started as a trainer, PR, and cleaner.

He sold his fitness business and studios to FTSE 100 company in 2012. He made most of his money by owning the freehold of his gyms. He also ventured into the real estate business, which wasn’t planned.

“It wasn’t the gyms that brought the fortune, it was that I held the Freehold leases to the properties. I ended up selling all 14 locations to an FTSE 100 company and that was my first real kill,” he once shared.
“It is really difficult to get people in lounges and eat salad, but it was easy to get people to get pissed, drink gin, and tonic, party, and eat pizza,” he added.
