John Andrew Smoltz an eight-time All-Star American former baseball pitcher is currently married to Kathryn Darden. Smoltz married Kathryn Darden at his home on May 16, 2009, in front of 70 friends and family.

In numerous interviews and comments, he stated that with Kathryn’s help, he could believe in love again.

Kathryn and Smoltz met on a blind date and later announced their marriage on May 16, 2009. Smoltz referred to her as a “Miracle from God.” They have two children together, but their names have yet to be revealed.

Kathryn Darden was born on August 28, 1969. She is currently 53 years old. Kathryn Smoltz was born Kathryn Therese Darden in New Smyrna Beach to parents Frank and Ellen Darden.

Kathryn was previously married to married Todd Dwight Waters in Alachua, Florida.

John Smoltz was also previously married before Kathryn Darden.  Smoltz met his first wife, Dyan Struble, at the Omni Hotel in downtown Atlanta; the couple married for 16 years and had four children before divorcing in 2007.
