Who is Zooey Deschanel’s partner Jonathan Scott?

Jonathan Silver Scott is a Canadian reality television star, builder, illusionist, and television and film producer. He is the partner of Zooey Deschanel an American actress, singer, and songwriter.

Zooey Deschanel met her partner Jonathan Scott in August 2019 while filming an episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series.

Jonathan Scott is best known as the co-host, along with his twin brother Drew, of the HGTV show Property Brothers, as well as its spin-offs such as Buying and Selling, Brother Vs. Brother, Forever Homes, and Property Brothers: At Home.

Scott is also a co-founder and executive producer of Scott Brothers Entertainment, a company that produces TV, film, and digital content for North American and international broadcasters.

The brothers have written a home improvement how-to book, a memoir, and two children’s construction books. Reveal, a magazine related to their brand, was released in 2020.

In December 2020, Deschanel appeared on Scott’s HGTV show Celebrity IOU. Though the actress admitted she wasn’t the best construction partner, it was clear she was willing to participate.

On the episode, Deschanel also joked that while she admires her boyfriend’s work, she would “rather watch him do it from afar… with headphones on.”
