American actor, Xolo Maridueña has bagged the main character for DC’s First Latino superhero movie, Blue Beetle. 

He plays the role of Jaime Reyes, the third person to take up the mantle of the Blue Beetle in the DC Comic Books. In the new trailer which was released today (Monday, April 3, 2023), he was handed a mysterious alien scarab inside a fast food container when he goes for a job interview.

He was asked to guide the container with his life but not to open the open, yet, he disobeyed and opened it eventually, thinking it was a burger. He opened it in front of his family and puts it in his palm. The scarab transforms and gets inside of him, covering him in an alien super suit.

The blue super suit can transform into anything or any weapon he can possibly think of. However, men with heavy arms and other forces come after him shortly after.
