Who is Wyn Calvin’s Wife Carole Calvin?

Carole Calvin is the wife of Welsh comedian, pantomime dame, and actor, Wyn Calvin, who died on January 25, 2022, at the age of 76.

Carole Calvin who was a dancer from Tenby had been married to Wyn for 46 years.

She met Wyn when he performed at the opening of the Barry Butlins holiday camp in 1966. The pair married in 1975 and she remained a constant companion by his side.

Wyn was a founding member and trustee of the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity before he died. He was nicknamed ‘The Welsh Prince of Laughter’, and the ‘Clown Prince of Wales’, known to have performed 75 pantomimes.

Born on August 28, 1925, Wyn worked with numerous stars during 70 years within the entertainment industry including Bob Hope, Christopher Biggins, Shirley Bassey, Frankie Vaughan, Vic Morrow, Bud Flanagan, Roy Hudd, Max Boyce, Morecambe and Wise, and Ken Dodd.
