Henry Searle is a British tennis player who won the Wimbledon Boys’ singles title in July 2023.

The the Wimbledon Boy’s singles, he upset top seed Juan Carlos Prado ngelo. He then won without dropping a set against Manas Dhamne, Arthur Gea, and Joao Fonseca. In the semi-finals, he defeated American junior Grand Slam winner Cooper Williams in straight sets.
He was recorded serving a first serve at 129mph during the semi-final. In the final, he defeated Yaroslav Demin in straight sets, becoming the first British junior to win the Wimbledon boys’ title since Stanley Matthews in 1962.

He told SkySports after his win: “I’ll definitely try and prepare myself for it, I’ll keep working hard and see what happens. “It is amazing to play on Court One with such a special crowd and manage to get the job done.
“It’s a pretty special feeling and it is not going to come too often and I am going to try and enjoy it. “It was amazing in front of this crowd today.”
Henry Searle started playing tennis at the age of three at his local tennis club, Newbridge Tennis Club. As of July 2023, Henry won five junior tennis titles in his career. He won his first championship in 2022 in the Under 16.
