Linda Marie McMahon is an American political figure, a former Trump administration official, and a former executive and performer in the professional wrestling industry. From 2017 until 2019, she was the Small Business Administration’s 25th administrator.

McMahon co-founded Titan Sports, Inc. (now WWE) with her husband, Vince McMahon, and served as president and eventually CEO from 1980 until 2009.
During this time, the company evolved from a small northeast regional firm to a big multinational conglomerate. She founded the company’s civic programs, Get REAL and Smackdown Your Vote, among other things. She had a few appearances on television, most notably in a feud with her husband that concluded at WrestleMania X-Seven.

McMahon left the WWE in 2009 to seek a position in the United States Senate from Connecticut as a Republican, but she was defeated in the general election of 2010 by Democrat Richard Blumenthal.
In the 2012 election, she was the Republican nominee for Connecticut’s other Senate seat, but she lost to Democrat Chris Murphy.
The couple met in high school and has been together for 56 years. Shane McMahon was Vincent and Linda McMahon’s first child, born in 1970. After six years, Stephanie McMahon, a well-known television personality, was born.
