Who is Victoria Roshchina? Journalist ‘kidnapped by Russian spies’ in Ukraine

The Ukrainian media has revealed that one of its journalists, Victoria Rochchina, has been missing since March 15, 2022. They are suspecting that she may be a prisoner of the Russian occupiers. The European Federation of Journalists is calling for immediate release.

According to reports, Victoria had planned to visit Mariupol, a city that has been shelled by Russian troops for more than two weeks. After March 12, efforts by her colleagues to reach her have proven futile.

A few days ago, this same journalist was shot at when her vehicle passed a column of Russian tanks near the city of Zaporizhia. The journalist and her driver were not hit by the bullet.

Similarly, another journalist, Oleg Baturin has also gone missing since March 12.
