Frank Gore is third among National Football League (NFL) players in rushing yards at 16,000. Frank Gore was born on May 14, 1983 Miami, Florida and is currently 38 years old.

Frank Gore played college football at Miami and was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft. During his 10 seasons with the 49ers, Frank Gore  became the franchise’s rushing yards leader and received five Pro Bowl selections. Frank Gore also led the National Football Conference (NFC) in rushing yards during the 2006 season and made one Super Bowl appearance in Super Bowl XLVII.

After leaving San Francisco in 2014, Frank Gore played for the Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and New York Jets.

Frank Gore’s career has been noted for longevity, a rare trait for his position, and he holds the NFL record for games played by a running back at 241.

In 2020, Frank Gore was named to the NFL’s 2010s All-Decade Team.
