Kim belongs to the Presidium of the WPK Politburo, the highest decision-making body, and holds the highest rank of Marshal in the Korean People’s Army.
Kim is a totalitarian and a dictator, just like his founding fathers and had previously been charged for crimes against humanity by the United Nations Human Rights Council, following the killing of several North Korean officials in 2014, the assassination of his half-brother, Kim Jong-nam, in Malaysia, in 2017, and many other crimes.
Kim is known for expanding North Korea’s nuclear program and for combatting the COVID-19 pandemic in the country during its outbreak.
