The ASTRO boy band is currently made up of four members; MJ, Jinjin, Cha Eun-woo, and Yoon San-ha due to Rocky’s exit in February 2023 and Moonbin’s death o n April 19, 2023.

They are all equally popular but some people believe that Cha Eun-woo is the face of the group. Some fans might disagree because everyone has their favorite amongst them.

ASTRO came up through the rookie talent development program dubbed iTeen Boys which was created by the group’s Fantagio. The final member line-up and group name were announced in August 2015.

The group also starred in a web drama series titled To Be Continued that same month. This was their entrance to the limelight. They also appeared in their own reality TV show dubbed Astro OK! Ready which aired on January 21, 2016, and ended on February 18, 2016.
ASTRO also announced their first group world tour – ASTROAD – on July 15, 2017. The show began in Seoul at Seoul Olympic Hall and later in Osaka and Tokyo. They released their first studio album on January 16, 2019, titled All Light.
In May 2020, they released their seventh EP, Gateway. Moonbin & Sanha formed the first sub-unit and released an EP titled In-Out. In 2022, the group released its second studio album, All Yours.
