American musician, Chris Shiflett is the current lead guitarist of the popular rock band, Foo Fighters. He joined the band in 1999.

He auditioned as a guitarist for Foo Fighters and got in after recording There Is Nothing Left To Lose with the band. Due to his abrupt departure from No Use for a Name, his fellow members of the band who were about to head on tour had to find a replacement, which Dave Grohl became a good fit for.

Aside from being a lead guitarist for the Foo Fighters, he also manages his solo project dubbed Jackson United, as well as teaming up with his brother for Viva Death.

Shiflett released his third studio album in 2023 titled Lost At Sea and is set to go on UK and Ireland tour soon.

I am so excited to announce my upcoming tour of the UK & Ireland. The gigs I did over there in 2019 were some of the wildest, most rocking solo shows I’ve ever done, and I expect this one will be even better. We ‘ve got a bunch of new tunes to play, and we’re fired up. See you soon!!!” he shared.
