The Oakland Athletics is an American professional baseball team based in Oakland, California.

On Friday, July 1, the A’s made their coaches for the 2022 season official, with rookie manager Mark Kotsay leading the way.

All five of the current members of the group were kept on, though some of the holdovers were given new roles. The group now consists of three new members.

Mark Kotsay is the new manager, and Brad Ausmus as the bench coach. Brad has five years of experience as an MLB manager. Eric Martins at first base, and Darren Bush at third base.

Additionally, Darren Bush is a “run prevention coach,” and Eric Martins is an infield coach.

With Kotsay’s promotion from 3B coach to manager, there are now two vacancies at bench and 3B.
