Duan Jansen and Marco Jansen became the first twin brothers to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on April 6, 2023. While Marco made his IPL debut in 2021 and is playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad, his twin brother Duan played his first match in the cash-rich league against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2023.

Duan Jansen has been picked by Mumbai Indians. Marco Jansen is a South African cricketer who plays for the South African national cricket team and the Warriors in domestic matches. Marco Jansen was born on May 1, 2000, in Klerksdorp, South Africa.

Marco Jansen’s father trained him in the nets along with his twin brother Duan. Duan also plays cricket for North West. Marco Jansen made his List A debut for North West in the 2017–18 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge on 8 April 2018.

Marco Jansen made his first-class debut for North West in the 2018–19 CSA 3-Day Provincial Cup on 11 October 2018. In January 2019, Marco Jansen was named in the South Africa national under-19 cricket team’s squad, ahead of their tour to India.
