Lauren is the founder of Wonderfund, an NGO set up to cater for the welfare of children. She is also deeply involved in charity through the Department of Children and Families.

Lauren is a graduate of Northwestern University, where she bagged her first degree and an MBA.

She is also a brand advertising guru, having managed several brand campaigns for consumer products through her marketing agency, The Baker Group.

In addition, she has chaired several boards in the advertising and educational sectors.

Lauren married Governor Baker in 1987 and together they have three children – Charlie, AJ and Caroline.

American politician Charles Baker Jr. is the current serving Governor of Massachusetts since 2015.

Born on November 13, 1956, in Elmira, New York, Baker is a graduate of Harvard University and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, where he obtained an MBA degree.

As far back as the 80s, Baker worked as codirector of the Pioneer Institute in Boston, where he met Bill Weld, who later became Governor of Massachusetts in 1991.

In 1992, Weld made Baker Secretary of Health and Human Services of Massachusetts, and later, the Secretary of Administration and Finance.

In 2014, Baker defeated Democratic candidate Martha Coakley at the governorship polls, and emerged Governor.

In December 2022, Baker was elected president of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, succeeding Mark Emmert. His role as president will take effect in March 2023.
