Tim Daly is a well-known American actor and the partner of Téa Leoni an actress from the United States.

The couple has been together since December 2014.

Tim Daly is best known for his roles as Joe Hackett on the NBC sitcom Wings and as the drug-addicted screenwriter J.T. Dolan on The Sopranos (for which he received an Emmy nomination).

From 2007 to 2012, he played Pete Wilder on the ABC medical drama Private Practise. In addition, he is well-known for his role as Clark Kent/Superman in Superman: The Animated Series.

From 2014 to 2019, he also portrayed Henry McCord, the Secretary of State’s husband, on the CBS drama Madam Secretary. Tim Daly is an advocate for a variety of liberal political and social causes.

Daly joined The Creative Coalition (TCC) in early 2007, a liberal, politically active 501(c)(3) nonprofit comprised of members of the American film and entertainment industries; Daly has served as its president since 2008.

In June 2008, Daly and Chandra Wilson were named the 2008 ambassadors for Lee National Denim Day, a breast cancer fundraiser benefiting the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s Women’s Cancer Programmes.
