As the first Polish golfer to win the Australian Open, Adrian Meronk, a professional, added another chapter to the sport’s history when he defeated Adam Scott by five shots in December 2022.

The 29-year-old finished four under par to capture the Stonehaven Cup at Victoria Golf Club with a remarkable eagle on the 72nd hole. Despite the presence of his lover Melania Bobrowicz, Meronk’s victory was celebrated in grand style.

Beck began his caddying career on the Ladies European Tour before going on to the men’s Challenge Tour. He is a well-known face at Broomieknowe but currently plays the most of his own golf at Gullane.
Stuart Beck now works for Adrian Meronk on the DP World Tour, where the Pole sits eighth in the Race to Dubai after six top-six finishes this year.
Meronk will be the first Pole to tee off in the game’s oldest major after earning his spot in the historic contest at St Andrews in the most recent Dutch Open.
