Andy LaPlegua, who was born as Ole Anders Olsen, on 15 September 1975, is a Norwegian singer and songwriter.

He is originally known for being founder and lead vocalist of futurepop band Icon of Coil. He gained fame in the aggrotech and electro-industrial scenes as founder and lead vocalist of Combichrist and Panzer AG.
On 11 March 2016, the Norwegian singer married German actress fun TV presenter, Sophia Thomalla, but in May 2017, they announced their divorce. The duo never disclosed what exactly went wrong in their relationship.

Soon after completing his studies, Andy joined the hardcore/metal band named My Right Choice as a lead vocalist.
He also experimented with hip hop in the Detroit Techno/Old School band Law. Moreover, Andy also developed his interest in club and trance music and collaborated with bands like Sector9 and Plastic Life.
The band Icon of Coil was formed in 1997, as a solo project. Later, Andy invited his former band member Sebastian Komor to join the band and perform live. After performing ffor several shows together, Sebastian joined the band for full-time.
