Who Is Sania Khan? Chicago Photographer Killed By Her Ex-Husband

Chicago-based photographer, Sania Khan, was brutally murdered by her ex-husband, on July 18, 2022. She was aged 29.

Sania had been shot in the head in her home in Streeterville, Chicago by Ahmed, 36, after the estranged couple went through a messy divorce.

Following the criminal act, Ahmed shot and killed himself on the spoy before police officers could break into into the apartment.

Ahmed had reportedly travelled all the way from Georgia, where he resided in an Atlanta suburb, to Chicago.

His family had earlier declared him missing.

Who Was Sania Khan?

Sania Khan is a photographer and a popular content creator who had many followers on social media.

She hails from the mountain town Chattanooga in Tennessee.

She had relocated to Chicago, Illinois only last year.

Sania garnered over 3000 followers on TikTok and her bio reads: “South Asian, going through a divorce/healing, photographer.”

She not only published TikTok videos about her photography journey, but her divorce as well.

Sania had previously been a flight attendant at Spirit Airlines, before she settled for photography, specializing in weddings.
