The much-loved dancer, who was paired with Patsy Kensit, Anita Dobson, Lisa Riley, and Deborah Meaden during his time on the BBC dance competition, has tragically died at the age of 44. His death was announced by a dance company associated with the late dancer, with no details regarding the date of his passing or the cause of his death shared.
Robin, who was forced to quit the hit show in 2014 due to a back injury, endured numerous heartaches over the years, from a failed engagement to an on-off romance with his ex-partner and former X Factor singer Marcus Collins.
The Ballroom star – who started dancing at the tender age of three – moved from Suffolk to London when he was just 15 to pursue his dreams of being on stage. There, he met his ex-partner Davide Cini and popped the question in August 2013 while on a trip to New York.
